(she/her)
Michelle holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Bridgewater State University and is working towards her LCSW in Massachusetts. She is excited to return to CCC after completing her MSW internship here. Her approach is collaborative, meeting clients where they are and working together towards their goals and a deeper understanding of themselves. She utilizes a combination of talk therapy, psychoeducation and mind/body/somatic techniques. Michelle works with adolescents and adults, including neurodiverse individuals and those with developmental and intellectual disabilities. She has a particular interest in trauma, medical anxiety, PTSD, and c-PTSD, as well as leveraging technology to create more effective telehealth sessions. Her previous experience includes advocacy and healthcare technology. Her internship as a Patient Advocacy intern at Dana-Farber inspired her to pursue this work and focus on those with chronic health issues and medical anxiety. Outside of CCC, you can find her reading, listening to audiobooks, and playing board games. She is always eager to learn new things and loves hearing about other people’s hobbies.
